Fake support and “safe accounts”

Stop a call that pressures you to share a code or move money for “protection”.

How it works

The caller creates alarm and offers one urgent solution. A displayed name, knowledge of your details or a supplied document does not prove authority.

What to check and do

  1. End the contact. Do not transfer money on the caller’s instructions.
  2. Contact your provider independently through a known official channel.
  3. Do not send codes, passwords or digital-signature files in response.

Learning scenario

Learning example: “Give us the code or we cannot stop the withdrawal.”

Self-check

Your answer stays on this page until it is closed or reloaded. No real passwords, codes or documents are needed. The result is not a security certificate.

Which action should you choose?

Important limits

The Academy cannot process account-blocking requests. Contact your provider for an incident.
